Boarding the Steamboat Natchez will give you a truly unique view of the City with their Evening Jazz Cruise and enjoy a unique visit to the engine room to see the workings of 100-year-old steam engines, it is timeless.
Their Harbor Jazz Cruise entertainment includes a jazz pianist or jazz trio (Duke Heitger and the Steamboat Stompers) along with a professional live narration of the river sites and history. The 7:00 p.m. Dinner/Jazz Cruise features live performances by the Grammy nominated “Dukes of Dixieland”.
Additionally the steam calliope plays before cruises for approximately 15 minutes. It is a steam pipe organ played by a musician located on the roof of the NATCHEZ.
How to get there?
From Canal Street and the River, drive one block to N.Peters Street and turn right. At the third traffic light, St. Peter Street, turn right and go across the railroad tracks into the parking lot on your right. The boat is docked at that location.
